The Panubli-on, a Regional Trade Fair of Western Visayas

The Department of Trade and Industry Region VI in partnership with SMEs in Western Visayas mounted the 9th Panubli-on Trade Fair at the Glorietta Activity Center, Ayala Malls Makati City from Aug. 4-6, 22014.

This is the 4th year that we have mounted the Trade Fair in Ayala Malls in Makati with different venues for the main fair.  We have maintained our mini fair however at the Groundfloor of the Greenbelt 1.  This year, we were lucky to get the old activity center where we were able to mount the 6 provincial booths in one area.

Antique Set upThe Antique exhibitors waiting for CENTREX for finish setting up the booths.  This year CENTREX was so slow in the set up, with only four staff to haul and mount the booth systems.  We have no choice but advise our exhibitors to come early the following day for the set up of the products.  We were there up to almost 2AM and not one booth had been mounted.

Set Up (Antique)Setting up of products still on going while the mall is already open to the public.  This has to be improved next year.  Maybe we have to explore other providers of booth systems.

We are optimistic that we can mount a bigger Fair next year.  We need to bring the products of our SMEs to urban centers so that more sales will be generated.
